Mashup emerges as the universal reuse and integration of software and system in the Web 2.0. Since library users quest for more directly access to information and search engine attract more eyeballs in information retrieval,mashup of library and search engine may establish a win-win application on metadata sharing,information aggregation and channel sharing. Mashup framework and technical models are discussed for coherent information experience free of information overload. Suggestions about information aggregation and personalization are forward to refine the library service with mashup ideas.

By analysing present application situation of enterprise competitive intelligence system, this paper points out that CIS needs an cooperatiue environment to function truly effective, and conceives an Cooperative Competitive Information System Environment (CCISE) be composed of enterprises, CIS providers, CI providers, librarys, consultant companies and universities, then describes under this environment how these participants cooperate to accomplish goals in the workflow of CI jobs. In the end, analyzes the new requests to realize the CCIS as to support cooperation of those participants in the CCISE.
This paper chooses corpus, definitions dictionaries and users’ query logs as contexts to extract the relevance terms. The experiment results show that the overlap ratio of results in different contexts is very low. So, it is necessary to integrate the different results. All of the relevance terms are integrated to a relevance table through direct integration.
This paper states the Ontology mapping method of the intelligent retrieval system based on the user model, puts forward and describes the improved framework of Ontology mapping system. On this ground, it detailedly introduces the computation of similarities based on it and puts forward the integrated match approach which composes the individual match approach and the combining match approach in the end.
This paper presents a method for text semantic information processing based on Ontology and latent semantic indexing. Firstly, virtual standard text characteristic vectors are constructed; then, the texts are semantically classified into document sets according to virtual standard text characteristic vectors by using latent semantic indexing method; finally, semantically explicit annotations to the document sets are abtained from Ontology-base by guidance of virtual standard text characteristic vectors. Experiments show that method can achieve good text clustering of semantic level, and the clustering can explicitly indicate categories of the clustered documents.

This paper presents the work in extracting four anti-neoplastic medicines related mesh/subheading co-occurrence mode using association rule mining, and evaluates the quality of the results by comparing it with the PubMed literature and textbook. The evaluations shows that this method is fit for medical knowledge extraction. The paper designs a online thesaurus by making use of Topic Maps. Based on the analysis of the relationship between descriptores and of the shortage of the traditional thesaurus, this paper analyzes and models the relationship between descriptores by selecting eighteen descriptors from current thesaurus as the research sample. Finally, combined with the newly Topic Maps technology, an experiment is completed by employing three free tools provided by Ontopia to create, browse and visualize online topic map.
