This paper mainly introduces practical requirements and recent applications about integration & portal. According to the practices and studies of Tsinghua University Library, it elaborates on the expectations and effects of resources integration, thoughts and contents of portal construction, and some technical measures in practice. It puts forward at present the resources integration and portal construction are important devolpment and progress in increasing of the use efficiency of resources and upgrading ability of services for libraries.

This paper analyzes the integration of digital library portal and library automation system in detail. It figures out the requirements of the integration and discusses the integration approach and technology. Then taking Peking University Library as an exemple, it indroduces the realization scheme and the salient features of the integration of library automation system and digital portal. According to the relationship between library automation system and single sign-on system, readers’ data sharing between two system, and WebCat page modification, this paper initially evaluates the scheme.

This paper proposes a management framework which can effectively solve the security problem of E-commerce. This paper proposes a new method of drawing and designing weighted arborescence, with emphasis on the well distribution and minimizing intercrossing of branches. The principles of two different algorithms of determining local region are designed and discussed. The whole method of drawing the map with out intercrossing is chosen after analysis and experimental comparisons. The effectiveness of the algorithm is shown in the implementation results.
Based on the analysis of concepts of the domain of clinical medication, this paper abstracts several categories and their properties, and develops a practical clinical medication Ontology which contains 4 clinical individuals. By this experiment, this paper learns the characters of building such kind of Ontology, and provides decision-making supports for the applications of medication Ontology to improvements of the expert system and guidelines for medication of clinicians.

In view of development diversification in the domain of library information consultation means, in order to develop consultation via maximumly making use of communication instrument, this paper advances a novel theory about using SM to intercommunion between users. At last, It carries out the SMSC system through the Web browser, the SM system sends short messages using plain texts, in conformity to the data of background database. The system has not especial request for network bandwidth.
