Among the wide range of information retrieval visualization systems, the basic process of its implementation is yet neglected. Based on the analysis of different information retrieval visualization systems, the process of the design and implementation of information retrieval visualization is described, including the visualized object and virtual structure, visual mapping, visual information space, and rendering. Visualization of information retrieval is for aiding with the information retrieval, which is the principle for the implementation.
