The Organization and Management Technology of Multimedia Information

Abstract  

This paper summarizes three kinds of organization and management technology of multimedia information: expanding the relative database model, object oriented database model and hypertext hypermedia technology. It expounds their principle, analyses their advantages and disadvantages. It also introduces the function and information organization technology of the multimedia database named “The Multimedia Database of Chinese Road and Bridge”.
