Post and Telecommunication Documents Database Constructing and It s Services System

Abstract  

Posts and telecommunications document database is one of the important content of document source and digital constructed in CALIS, it s data come from the major documents of posts and telecommunications in Chinese and English and are organized by the Thesaurus for P&T Technology. The Internet/Intranet solving project combining the data collection, process, administer and service and based on Quick IMS and IMS Web is adopted. Basing on Solaries operating system and the database system of Sybase and IMS for softw are flatfo rm , the techno logy of browser, Web server and application database are adopted, the secondary exploitation is done combining“MELINETS ”produced by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications Library. The function of documents issued on internet and multi- standard retrieval mode are realized.
