Digital repositories, one of the solutions for digital content management, are more popularly deployed in scholarly communication, digital library, and digital preservation. Within so many scenarios Fedora has gained great attention for its flexible and extensible technology in repositories. We particularly analyze the concepts and principle of the digital object and repository architecture of Fedora. And for it’s just a lay in digital repositories, we approach several expansive proposes, also with an instance of digital library of Tufts University.
