Implementing the Supporting to KOS in Document Information Management System Based on Multi-MARC

Aimed at how to apply the theory of knowledge organization to software design and development, this paper analyzes the limits and difficulties of traditional document information management system in supporting to KOS. It emphasizes the ideal of Multi-MARC which construct the union mechanism to describe different type document and supprot KOS integrate with document information management system. It also introduces the effect on software development.
