Abstract

In the first part of this paper,the authors introduce features and support technologies of a multimedia system.Process of developing a multimedia information system is outlined.lmpacts of multimedia technology on library are pointed out in the second part,which show it is inevitable that multimedia technology will be applied in library more and more in the future.
