Abstract  This paper adopts a new framework named Minimal Recursion Semantics (MRS) to represent sentence meaning. Taking Chinese Quantitative Noun Phrases(QNP) as main analysis object according to MRS’s characteristics, the paper designs a suitable MRS representation for Chinese QNP and shows a reasonable HPSG analysis of QNP.It also implements a grammar analysis experiment, and the result shows the grammer is basically applicable to Chinese QNP representation.
