The Developments of XML in Technologies Associated with Digital Library

Abstract  

The developments of XML in technologies associated with the construction of digital library are presented in this paper, involving the underlying technologies of XML, specific information encoding standards based on XML, the XML representation of metadata, interoperating protocols based on XML, and the integration of XML with modeling technology, etc.
