Interoperability of MODS and MARC

The content of MODS is introduced firstly, and the reasons why we discuss the interoperability of MODS and MARC are given. Then the paper introduces the mapping of elements set between MODS and MARC, and the use of MARCXML as a middle layer of interoperation.
