Preliminary Study on Using VMware vSphere Virtualization Technology to Build Cloud Services Platform of Library

Abstract  This paper surveys and analyzes the current situation of digital hardware and software in domestic libraries, and points out the shortcomings of current digital construction.The solution that depending on VMware vSphere Cloud Operation System is proposed to build virtual cloud service platform in the library.This paper introduces the functions and features of the VMware vSphere products, and based on the virtual cloud service platform of Nanjing University Library, it illustrates the application process and the practical effect.
