——Summarization of Chinese and European Workshop on Digital Preservation

Abstract  

Digital preservation is a complicated but important new issue. Libraries of European have gotten much progress on it. Libraries of China worked together with them and hold the Chinese and European Workshop on Digital Preservation in Beijing on July,2004.  Experts on digital preservation introduced the development of digital preservation around the world, and presented the policies, strategies, organization, law and technology issues from different views.
