This paper reviews what CSDL has done in resources building of science journals and services providing, summarizes current problems of integration of journal system and services, after referring to international related projects and analyzing current status and development of CSDL, we turn to construct an integrative journal catalog system with scenes sensitive function. This paper introduces the aim and idea of system, also including the details of the design and implementation. Finally, some problems still be here and possible anticipation.

Through analyzing a lot of current Ontology reasoners in detail, this paper concludes a general system structure for Ontology reasoners. After introducing three typical Ontology reasoners (Pellet, Racer, FaCT++), it proposes and implements a test plan for Ontology reasoners from the system, user and developer’s point. The experiment results show that the test plan is feasible and effective. At last, the paper analyzes the disadvantages of current Ontology reasoner and gives some ideas on Ontology reasoners’ future development.

Facing too much results returned by different search engines, this paper designs a meta-search in order to fully utilize the results. It introduces the basic structure of meta-search and methods of results merging. And employs the techniques of statistics to study the relevance between title and page content, relevance between abstract and page content, and then fixes the weights of title and abstract when judge the relevance of search results. The experiment proves the improvement of average veracity comparing with the member search engines.

Based on the experiences and rules that summarized from the science information consulting work, Tsinghua University Library apply the computer-assisted technology to the science information consulting process. A unique computer-assisted software application named WordSnap is developed to assist the consultant to finish the consulting works. The major functions of WordSnap includes: the search formula conversion between different databases, the attachment file content validation, the attachment file output format check. By using the assistant software, the consultant can save plenty of time wasted on the non-technical work and can spend more time on the quality guarantee. The work efficiency is also elevated by this means.
