After analyzing and using the Ontology editor Protégé, this paper chooses science individuals which extracting from Web content as analysis objects, and tries out an experiment on creating science Ontology and reasoning on a simple relation. This paper also explains these methods and examples. Finally, it sums up some problems still existing in large scale Ontology storage and management.
This paper discusses how to use open source software to construct a system for harvesting and preserving Chinese Web information resources，and introduces the thematic harvest experiments based on selective strategy, preliminarily analyses and summarizes the experimental results.
The paper gives an overview of using DSpace as a prototype system to build CAS-IR platform via a way of extending and optimization, which includes additional quick submission workflow, knowledge organization optimization, extended services, knowledge asset statistics, user management enhancement, optimization of user interfaces, and improvements of deployment in a production environment. It also presents typical use cases of CAS-IR and gives a short summarization of experiences of extending development and explanation of future development considerations of CAS-IR.
This paper briefly reviews the development and the basic characteristics of the long-term preservation open source system DAITSS, makes a detailed description of the system function framework, analyses its digital object models and storage management as well as active preservation strategies based on format transition, and briefly introduces the application in FDA(Florida Digital Archive).The authors believe that DAITSS provides more posibilities to build a preservation system for archiving organizations in existing digital resources environment.

It can provide the readers their borrowed records during a certain period of time and meet their personal demands of searching and preserving these records.

This paper presents an intelligence fuzzy search model to analyze and extend the concept of keywords. Then an intelligence fuzzy search system based on C# in Visual Studio.NET2.0 and ASP.NET technology is achieved, which is combined with a variety of scripting languages and Ajax technologies.
To determine the optimal context field of ambiguous word, the paper uses cross-validation method to identify the optimal context window, and the best one has the lowest error rate in all of candidates. Using this method, it processes SemEval-2007 data sets and finds that the optimal context windows for this data sets is ［-2, +2］. In order to verify this result, there is a WSD test for SemEval-2007 test data sets, which shows that the performance of Chinese WSD upgrades to a certain extent. And the different optimal context windows for different parts of speech of ambiguous word are discussed.
This paper presents an extending inside-outside algorithm by combining the knowledge of HowNet. And then the extending algorithm is used for Chinese semantic analysis. The experiments show the extending inside-outside algorithm can overcome the shortcomings of the original one, such as high training costs, local extremum and unsatisfactory similarity to the results given by linguists.
This paper proposes a framework of domain Ontology-based scientific and technical information retrieval, and makes in-depth study on information organization and semantic retrieval. A prototype information retrieval system is also implemented. Via a series of retrieval effects tests, the domain Ontology-based retrieval system shows obvious advantages over the keyword-based system, and has an enormous potential of application.
Aiming at the problem of Web call center queuing, based on the analysis of the routing algorithms and queuing algorithms of the traditional call center, this paper presents a routing algorithm which adapts to the Web call center’s new customer priority, the last service and the most recent free allocation. Meanwhile, a dynamic queuing algorithm with priority, relating to the average call time, the call frequency and the waiting time is proposed. The algorithms improve the efficiency and the quality of service of the Web call center.

The paper joints use rule and Rocchio classifier to classify the preschool integrated education resources. It uses the rules established beforehand to identify the news, then Rocchio classifier is implemented to categorize the remaining resources. The experiment results demonstrate that comprehensive classification based on rules and Rocchio classifier can raise the performance of resources classification effectively.

This paper applies the reinforcement learning models which put psychology and economics into studying science and technology user learning behavior of information searching methods. Firstly, two traditional reinforcement learning models of Bush-Mosteller model and Börgers-Sarin model are introduced. Then, based on analysis of the reinforcement learning mechanism, control experiment is designed to explore user learning behavior through quality study. The experiment result indicates that reinforcement learning could successfully reflect the process of user learning and Börgers-Sarin model has got better fitting and forecasting effect. Finally, based on the experiment result, this paper provides some customer strategies for academic database website.
