To satisfy the various Ontology demands from different perspectives and hierarchies, this paper proposes a new description of Ontology modules based on granularity theory, by which the users can easily extract the modules from existing large Ontologies. Through combining granular computing and faceted classification, this paper defines the granular properties of the Ontology and gives the definition of Ontology granular partitioning as well as its semantic explanation.
Based on concept lattice theory and drawing supports from market segmentation variables of marketing, this article develops market segment of digital library users by means of conceptual clustering of formal concept analysis. The authors also investigate the construction of elastic segmentation mechanism by breakthrough of traditional statistics in digital library users.
This paper briefly introduces the basic summary of the Planets project, and makes a detailed description of the preservation planning, content characterisation, preservation action, interoperability framework as well as testbed of the project.The authors believe that Planets provides various tools and services needed during the long-term preservation, facilitates the development of the long-term preservation of digital resources, and it’s a good reference for China.
For the problems of how to improve information systems modeling theory based on FCA, the core issues which information system modeling theory should solve have been defined, and the advantages of using FCA to resolve these issues have also been analyzed, then the application direction of FCA in the process of information system modeling is pointed out. Eventually, the paper presents a FCA-based information system modeling theory, and then elaborates the method of dividing system into subsystems and the principle of how to construct static model, dynamic model and functional model using FCA with examples.
On the basis of related works, this paper analyzes the basic principle of deep Web surfacing based on common search engines. Several key issues related to the deep Web surfacing are discussed, which include determination of value ranges of form fields, query processing, and hyperlink setting in result pages.
The paper reviews three automatic mapping methods,including based on morphology, structure and corpus, and it also introduces the types of mapping relationship. Then some key issues about the terminology mapping, such as direction of mapping, inconsistency of mapping, transition of mapping relationship, combination of human and machine mapping, are discussed in the paper.
For the need of improving the overall performance of syntactic analysis, the paper puts forward and builds a syntactic analysis system and verification platform for Chinese and English in the two views of visually editing rules and dictionaries learned from training file as well as displaying and operating results of the syntactic analysis by tree. It also introduces the design ideas, key technologies and concrete implementation in details, and points out the existing problems as well as the improvement measures.
This paper introduces three automatic interlinking approaches,including mapping based on entity’s text, graph’s similarity and rules. Mapping based on entity’s text is the basic approach and mapping based on graph’s similarity is an extension of single triple comparing. These two approaches are general and common methods,but the relationship types they can create are very limited. The approach of interlinking based on rules can create richer and more complex relationship types, but it depends on specific data models and related rules.
In P2P network,the management mechanism of users’ community and resources’ community, and semantic retrieval system model based on folksonomy are put forward in this paper. The functions of every module and the retrieval process in the system are described in detail, and two kinds of resource searching method are also discussed.
For it is hard to extract and analyze public information effectively,the paper uses the opinion-mining and the step-by-step sub-model design method to build a system of city image network monitoring. By city reviews mining and sentiment analysis, the paper can identify tendencies and evolution of emotions,and provide the results to government departments using visual interface.
Based on document-weight combining method, this paper uses N-gram language model and designs an expert research field recognition system. Taking Wuhan University as a preliminary evaluation example, the authors find that the system is highly effective in the expert research field recognition.
This paper reviews the research of social network search in recent years, then analyses and compares the key technologies systematically in the aspects of social relations extraction, social networking visualization and social relationship search.It also proposes a method which can weight the relationship. Finally, some future directions are pointed out.
The article proposes a model of automation Chinese summarization based on the basic elements method(BESM). The model uses the basic elements method theory, and it has some advantages that comparing with the model based on words, the model shows more symantic information. Combining the symantic information with statistic approach makes our summarization more precise and quick. Finally,the experiment results show that the BESM is better than common method.
Aimed at the shortcomings of the bibliographic recommended methods in digital library, a Fast Personalized Bibliographic Recommendation Method(FPBRM) is proposed. By using the technologies of matrix vector and compression, the method improves Apriori algorithm that it can enhance the efficiency of data mining.Then the correlation between the books can be mined from the loan records by using the Improved Apriori Algorithm(IAA),which can provide personalized bibliographic recommendation for the readers. Finally,the simulation results show the effectiveness of the method.
According to the problems that the network monitoring commercial software is expensive and free tools software is insufficient, etc., this paper proposes a campus network equipment monitoring platform using open source software SNM (System and Network Monitor). The methods of monitoring network devices and reading network equipment MIB library are described, while the working principle of SNM server, the overall structure, the run environment configuration, objects, and the graphics configuration file structure are also introduced in details. Finally,the paper implements the real-time monitoring on the network device performance from Ping, sysUpTime, Network Usage, CPU, Memory, and other parameters, at the same time,the monitoring results are showed by PNG.
In order to solve the problem that the library can not send SMS to the readers belonging to different telecom agents, this paper introduces a SMS warning return system based on MAS and GPRS.This system uses a wireless modem with USB port based on SIM300 GPRS module and the MAS device of China Mobile. Moreover,a SMS sending and management platform which is compatible with the wireless modem mentioned above is developed. Now the system has been put into practice, and it is in a stable running and has been achieved outstanding effect.
This article discusses the design and implementation of general duplicate checking and comparison template system used for Chinese periodical acquisition. Based on the technology of Excel VBA,this system which is developed by Library of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2009, designs and develops a general duplicate checking and comparison template aimed at all kinds of providers’ directory data. It achieves accurate, efficient and batch duplicate checking and comparison in the library periodical acquisition work and provides a friendly graphic interface. The system promotes the automation and scientization of library acquisition work.
