Based on the studies of the OAIS reference model, some major digital preservation systems and the systemic theories of preservation technologies, the authors bring forth a technological framework of digital preservation which includes major digital preservation technologies. In this technological framework, digital preservation technologies can be divided into 5 categories: the technologies of preservation management, the technologies of ingest, the technologies of preservation repository, the technologies of storage management and the technologies of access. Details of the technologies belong to each category have been addressed.
As the essential part of longterm digital information preservation, technical strategy has been widely studied. This paper gives an overview on the development of technical strategy. Specifically, the key factors of technical strategy analysis frame are analyzed, the theory and practice of several representative technical strategies are explained in detail，and a summary with comparisons is succinctly provided at the end of this paper.

PREMIS preservation metadata is a wide accepted standard in the long term preservation area. The authors firstly introduce the background of the PREMIS project. Then give a comprehensive review on the preservation metadata framework proposed by OCLC/RLG, which acted as the foundation of PREMIS’s work. After that, the authors summarize the new ideas and data model of PREMIS preservation metadata and list the preservation metadata of each entity in the data model. At the end of paper, the authors conclude the characters and limits of PREMIS preservation metadata.

We use the theory of Swanson’s noninterative literature-based knowledge discovery to identify the potential opportunities for collaboration between two organizations. The results are compared with the hot points found by co-word analysis. The paper is to approve whether Swanson’s theory can be used to find the collaboration opportunities of two organizations and the results indicate that this method fits it well.
In view of the characteristics of the traditional AH P in selecting network database in university, such as over many indices strong randomicity,and it's inherent defect, the article puts forward an improved AHP，and builds evaluation index system of network database with it。Working out the relative weight of each index, adopting the index values of the databases provided by experts, the evaluation result is acquired by linear weighting,which will provide a new approach for selecting network database.
This paper has implemented a text categorization system based on Vector Space Model(VSM) and Naive-Bayes(NB). When estimating the category, the authors enhance the veracity of parent-category by emendation of subcategory, and judge whether document has multi-classification and multi-label by estimating the similar difference of classifier’s final values. The experiment proves that VSM is better than NB in text representation: MicroF1 increases of 25.2 percent of parent-category, and MicroF1 increases of 26.3 percent of sub-category.

This paper introduces an algorithm for searching biological sequence databases——QUASAR. It is based on an index suffix array, as well as uses qgram filtration and local alignment to search approximate matches of a query sequence in the databases. And also uses Window shifting and block addressing in order to speed up the retrieval and reduce the space. Finally, compares QUASAR with BLAST which is a popular searching algorithm currently.

Regarding the present situation on managing actuality of computer and networking center room in academic and university Libraries, KVMoverIP technology is adopted, and the solution of a remote monitoring and administering system based on KVMoverIP in central computer room of libraries is proposed. A successful case of using KVMoverIP technology in the Xi'an Jiaotong University Library is presented.
